“How can I make my business stand out from my competitors in a crowded market?”
If you’ve found yourself asking this question, listen up!
Instead of taking the approach of “This is what my business has to offer. Who wants/needs it?”, I want you to flip this idea on its head.
Just “standing out” in general isn’t useful. You don’t want to stand out to everybody. You want to stand out to the people you resonate with—the people you desire to attract as customers and clients.
Start by identifying exactly who it is you’re looking to serve and then build all of your marketing FOR THEM. This is where that “servant mentality” I talk so often about comes in useful.
What are your ideal clients or customers struggling with? How can you be of service to them? How can you delight and inspire them? How can you bring value to their online experience?
