Stuck for social media content ideas?
Grab a piece of paper and jot down answers to these 3 questions about your ideal client?
Look at your answers to these questions and then consider how you can share content that’s in alignment with what you’ve written down. When you take this approach to marketing, you’ll constantly be serving your ideal clients. And remember: The more you serve, the less you have to sell!
But because Marketing Strategy makes more sense when you can see it in ACTION, let’s do exactly that.
Let me show you an example of the answers to these questions as it relates to my business and my ideal client:
→ My ideal client desires reassurance that they’re getting social media (and marketing in general) right.
→ My ideal client is often struggling for content ideas and knowing what else to talk about on social media.
→ My ideal clients wants to feel like they know what they’re doing and what they’re doing will work / is working to attract their ideal client. They also want to feel the relief of not having to think about what to post on social media!
Sound familiar? 😉
Now let’s look at how this very blog post you’re currently reading (which you’ll also find as two separate posts on my Instagram account) uses this above information to deliver you valuable content.
→ It’s giving you a quick tip to try. “Jot down answers to these three questions.
→ Coming from a marketing expert also adds to the “reassurance” they’re seeking. (Remember, you can share your message with more than words! Imagery, expertise, your reputation, all play into this.)
→ The “quick tip” I’m sharing is a strategy that would deliver lots of content ideas; what my idea client is struggling with.
→ It provides relief by sharing that this approach of serving clients content of value will mean doing less “selling” in business, because ideal clients will be seeking you out.
