“But it’s a saturated market. How can I stand out? How can I compete?”
First things first… don’t try competing on price alone.
I’m going to take an educated guess you didn’t start your business to be known as the “cheapest”, so why would you use this as a strategy to differentiate yourself from your competitors?
Try this instead:
▪️What do you do better than your competitors? This is your differentiator.
▪️What do your ideal clients or customers value? Quality? Efficiency? Customisation? Value for money? (which is different to price, remember).
Take your differentiator and what your ideal client is interested in, and THAT is how you compete and stand out in a saturated market.
And then you need to communicate it! Make this message apparent in all that you do and share, from your website and marketing efforts to the in-person experience.
As Oscar Wilde famously said, Be yourself; everyone else is already taken!
