what is a brand story?

A brand story is a critical piece of any marketing strategy that communicates the facts and feelings behind your business through visual and written storytelling. In short, it’s your “why”. Its role is to help your target client or customer understand who you are, what you stand for, and why your business is the solution they’ve been looking for.

Your brand story should give people a reason to believe in you and it should be the foundation from which all of your marketing decisions are made. At The Brand Story Workshop, we’re going to teach you how to develop your own brand story through visual and written content and then how to implement in your day-to-day marketing.

WHERE is the workshop?

  • Downtown Vancouver, BC. Address will be provided once you have registered.

WHEN is it?

  • Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9am to 4pm.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

  • 2-Hour Marketing Strategy Session lead by Tahnée of The Strategy Studio.

  • 1-Hour Visual Planning Session lead by Kim-Maru of Maru Photography.

  • 3-Hours of hands-on shooting and content creation so you leave The Brand Story Workshop with imagery and captions ready to post.

  • Fresh, new professional profile photos to be taken by Maru Photography. (Delivered following workshop.)

  • Refreshments, Lunch, tea and coffee provided.

WHAT do i NEED TO BRING?

  • Your laptop, notebook and phone! We’ll be getting hands-on when it comes to marketing so you’ll want to be able to take notes, download apps, open website and so on.

  • Your camera, iPhone or Android—whatever device you typically use to take photos for your social media feed.

  • Any “tools of your trade” that could be photographed. (We’ll provide examples based on your type of business.)

how much is it?

  • Bring a friend and pay $449 each!

  • $499 per person for individual attendance.
