I’m just going to dive into the blog with a big, “out there” question: Why do you do what you do?
If you’re thinking you haven’t had enough coffee to tackle this question today, I apologise! But I wanted to bring it up because I think you’ll experience unbelievable clarity in your business—and life—when you can answer it.
How do I know? Because I experienced it for myself.
I was attending a business coaching retreat recently and we were doing an exercise on passion and purpose. The facilitator asked “What is your purpose? Why do you do what you do?”
And without thinking about it, the words just fell out of my mouth. “I support women to understand and communicate their value so they can run enjoyable, profitable businesses.”
When forced into some self reflection I realised this was, in fact, at the heart of everything I offer.
Strategy Sessions → Give you clarity in all things marketing so you know how to show up and communicate your value with confidence and purpose.
Done-in-a-Day Copywriting → Helping you find the words you need to use to communicate your value with your target audience.
Marketing Masters Group Coaching → Stepping you through the creation of a marketing funnel that enables you to communicate your value at all touch points in your business.
Mini Sessions → A quick chat to give you the foundation you need to understand the value you have to offer and how you can share it.
Why does “communicating your value” matter so much? Because I truly believe when we know we’re communicating the value of what we do, it gives us the confidence to charge what we are worth.
As I’ve said many times…and will continue to say until every entrepreneur I know can recite it in their sleep 😉; Your pricing should be based on your experience, knowledge and the quality of your product or service, not someone else’s perception of your value.
So how do you stop worrying about other people’s perception of your value? By knowing in your heart that you are “on purpose” in everything you do. When you’re on Purpose, other people’s opinions can’t drag you down.
