Reach is an Instagram metric that tells you the number of people who have seen your content. (Each user is only counted once in Reach, compared to Impressions where it counts the number of times a post has been viewed—remembering one person could view a piece of content multiple times.)
To improve your reach, there are 3 metrics within your Insights worthy of your attention:
Great performance in these metrics signals to the algorithm that users are finding your content valuable, which subsequently prompts the platform to push your content to more users → increasing its reach.

Getting people to watch your Reels for longer or save / share your content is unlikely to come down to how long or fancy your Reel is — it’s about how much value they found in the content as a whole and how long they were engaged with it for. THIS is what a caption can help you deliver on. .
